cPanel vs DirectAdmin

Hello everyone, I hope someone can guide me with these small doubts that I have regarding these administration panels.

It turns out that I want to update my PHP version but I am told that under centos and using Plesk it is not possible to get beyond version 5.1.6 I know

that with cPanel it can but I also know that it consumes too much RAM and server resources and wanted know that both consumes DirectAdmin with respect to cPanel.

Also another question about the routes it handles, that is, cPanel / home / user
and PlesK / var / www / vhosts / domain.com / httpdocs

How are they managed by DirectAdmin?

I hope you can guide me and help, beforehand thank you very much.

    Code:

DirectAdmin consumes far fewer resources than cPanel. The disadvantage is that with DirectAdmin there are many things that you have to do them by console, cPanel has more options per interface (whm).

  • @"beatrix" Thanks for your answer, if I have noticed that DirectAdmin is more limited in that regard with respect to cPanel but I prefer more resources available and I think it has what it takes to work in a managed way, by chance you know that both spent of ram with about Plesk?

I'll check the DirectAdmin forum, Thank you very much!
